Instructions
- Step 1: Pat dry 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts and season evenly with 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Step 2: Place chicken breasts in skillet and cook 6 minutes without moving until golden brown on one side. Flip and cook another 5 minutes until cooked through and juices run clear. Remove chicken to a plate and keep warm.
- Step 3: Reduce heat to medium. Add 3 minced garlic cloves to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in 3 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp soy sauce, and 1/4 cup water. Simmer for 3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
- Step 4: Meanwhile, steam 3 cups broccoli florets in a steamer basket over boiling water for 5-6 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Step 5: Return chicken to skillet and spoon the honey-garlic sauce over it to coat. Serve chicken with steamed broccoli on the side.
