Mike Perry founded AislePrompt to close the gap between recipes on the internet and the grocery cart in your kitchen. He writes the AislePrompt blog — meal-planning playbooks, structured-diet guides (keto, Whole30, Mediterranean), and kitchen buying guides — with the same practical, home-cook-first perspective the app itself was built around.

Before AislePrompt, Mike spent a decade in recipe-data engineering — mapping ingredient lists to retailer catalogs, building the UPC and generic-name plumbing that lets a single recipe ship to Instacart, Target, Walmart, or Costco without the user picking a store. The blog reflects that background: every diet guide traces its macro claims to USDA FoodData Central, every "best of" list is scored against actual retail availability, and every meal-prep plan can be sent to Instacart in one tap.

Editorial process

Every article Mike publishes goes through the AislePrompt editorial pipeline: nutrition values from USDA FoodData Central (never estimated) and dietary-claim integrity checks against each diet's published rules (keto, Whole30, paleo, Mediterranean, low-sodium, anti-inflammatory). See the full methodology at the AislePrompt Editorial page.

Medical & nutrition disclaimer. Diet and nutrition content on AislePrompt is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Individual articles that discuss therapeutic diets or clinical conditions carry an inline credentialed-reviewer credit when one has attached; articles awaiting reviewer sign-off are excluded from search indexing until a Registered Dietitian (RD), Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), or medical doctor has been named as reviewer. If you follow a therapeutic diet for a diagnosed condition (diabetes, kidney disease, celiac disease, cardiovascular disease, food allergies, etc.), verify each recipe or meal plan with your clinician or a credentialed RD — the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics RD locator is the recommended starting point — before adopting it.
